Heidi is a Nationally Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that has been practicing in mental health and medicine since 1996. Heidi received her BSN in nursing in 1996 and PMHNPC and MSN in 2002 from Arizona State University. Heidi also received a Bachelors of Science in Child Psychology from Iowa State University in 1991. Heidi is very grateful to all of the many excellent mental health providers and nursing mentors she has practiced with over the years.

Heidi continues to accept new patients 11 years old and above. Heidi enjoys working with a broad range of patients including patients with: Bipolar and Depressive Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders, Adolescent Development and Stress, Trauma and Anxiety Disorders, Substance Use and Addictive Disorders, Women’s Health Disorders, Chronic Pain and Fatigue Disorders, Eating Disorders and Schizophrenia and Delusional Disorders.

Heidi believes it is very important to spend quality time with each patient and their collaborative team to create a personalized treatment care plan that meets each patient’s individualized mental health care needs. Heidi also values educating her patients about their diagnosis, medication management options and other alternatives for improved self-care and stability.

Heidi is proud of her two beautiful children. She enjoys spending time with close family, friends and her endearing pets. She loves sunshine and anything near the water. Heidi aspires to work towards achieving her DNP and believes education and the drive to always learn are the key elements for growth and happiness.
